- Purchasing a Subscription
- Please check our FAQs before purchasing for more details about our services.
- By placing an order, you confirm that:
- You are legally able to enter into a binding contract.
- You are at least 18 years old.
When you submit your payment details, you’re making an offer to purchase. Your Subscription begins once we verify your details and confirm acceptance. We may refuse an order at our discretion.
Start dates:
- Digital content: available within 7 days of order acceptance.
- Print subscriptions: start on the date you select.
Duration: Your Subscription continues until it expires, you cancel (see Section 5), or we end it (see 5.5).
Auto-renewal: After any trial or minimum term, your Subscription will automatically renew monthly, quarterly, or annually (depending on what you chose). We’ll use the same payment method you provided.
- Prices and Payment
- You agree to pay the price shown at the time of purchase.
- Prices may change, but we’ll notify you in advance (except where your trial price changes to the regular price, as explained when you subscribed). If you don’t want to continue at the new price, you can cancel.
- Subscription savings are calculated against the full published retail price.
Payment details:
- You must provide accurate payment information. By submitting your details, you confirm you are authorised to use that payment method.
- If your payment fails or is cancelled, we may suspend or cancel your Subscription.
Delivery charges:
- Home delivery is not always included unless stated. Delivery must be arranged separately with your newsagent.
- You are responsible for any internet or telecom charges when accessing digital content.
Pricing errors:
- If a price is shown incorrectly, we’ll let you know and give you the option to continue at the correct price or cancel. If the error is obvious and should have been noticed, we are not obliged to honour the incorrect (lower) price.
Direct Debit:
- Cancelling Your Subscription

5.2 Cancelling within 14 days (cooling-off period)
- You can cancel within 14 days of your Subscription starting by emailing us.
- If you’ve received retail vouchers, they must be returned to receive a refund.
5.3 Cancelling after 14 days
- After any minimum term, you can cancel at any time. Cancellation will take effect at your next payment date.
- No refunds are given for unused portions if cancelled more than 14 days after the start.
5.4 When we may cancel your Subscription
We may cancel with written notice if:
- You miss a payment and don’t resolve it within 14 days.
- You don’t provide required information.
- We reasonably believe you’ve acted fraudulently.
5.5 Complaints
- We aim to resolve complaints quickly and professionally.
- Nothing in these Terms affects your legal rights. For advice, visit Citizens Advice.
- Changes to Your Subscription
